The theater “Flying cow” was created in Tallinn in December 2017.

It is important for us that during the performance both: children and their parents were together involved in the theatrical game. This process can help them learn new about each other, possibly prevent conflicts in the family and it’s a good opportunity to have fun and useful time together. In our performances we use the methods of physical theater, the theater of objects, the theater of shadows, the elements of circus. Our target group – family with children. Our team is professionals in theater and work with children and youth. We use the system Dragon Dreaming (https://dragondreaming.org/) to build, harmonize and balance our team’s communication. At the moment we have 6 performances in our repertoire. Our theater is a member of Assitej, Estonia center. We take part in different theatre festivals, projects and also in charity programmes.

Since 2022 we are the part of a Tallinn-based theater center for children “Dragon nest”, where four independent theaters are founded and hosted under its roof. We are quite literally under one roof, as we are located on the 4th floor, almost in the attic of a beautiful cozy building on Viru Street in Tallinn’s Old Town. Our center’s repertoire includes over 6 performances for the whole family (object theater, drama theater, physical theater, puppet theater) as well as performances for adult audiences.

We organize street shows with puppets, acrobatics, juggling, and fire shows, and we invite unique theaters from around the world to perform for our guests. For example, in September 2022 we were visited by the actors and directors of Thailand’s Moradokmai Theatre.
